- Serious, acute, or chronic diseases
- Nicotine, alcohol, or drug abuse
- Oligomenorrhea (irregular menstrual bleeding)
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- Being very over or underweight
- Hirsutism
- Hormone therapy
- Allergy to plaster components
