When can femSense not be used?

Certain medical conditions prevent femSense from reliably measuring ovulation. These include:

  • Serious, acute, or chronic diseases
  • Nicotine, alcohol, or drug abuse
  • Oligomenorrhea (irregular menstrual bleeding)
  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
  • Being very over or underweight
  • Hirsutism
  • Hormone therapy
  • Allergy to plaster components
