What is an anovulatory cycle?

Anovulatory cycles are completely natural and nothing to worry about. An anovulatory cycle is a cycle in which you do not ovulate.

Such a cycle can be caused by lifestyle factors (jet lag, stress, exercise, weight problems) or due to medical circumstances (e.g. PCOS). Studies show that most women have one to two anovulatory cycles per year, for example in the course of an illness or due to stress.
